電動堆高車是電動叉車大類中的一個細(xì)分，它是一種手推行走。電動液壓升降、行走、轉(zhuǎn)向、全自動全方便的搬運(yùn)設(shè)備。它是以蓄電池為能源的一種工業(yè)搬運(yùn)車輛，是指對成件托盤貨物進(jìn)行裝卸、堆高、堆垛和短距離運(yùn)輸作業(yè)的各種輪式搬運(yùn)車輛。該半電動堆高車具有提升電機(jī)，提升方面是電機(jī)帶動液壓來推動液壓油缸實(shí)現(xiàn)貨物的升高的。
