利用這一技術(shù)，我們在工業(yè)設(shè)計中可以在產(chǎn)品設(shè)計前期做一些可行性的虛擬測試，在產(chǎn)品設(shè)計過程中利用虛擬現(xiàn)實來簡化產(chǎn)品的具體設(shè)計操作，后期產(chǎn)品評審可以利用這項技術(shù)做實時的動態(tài)評審和產(chǎn)品虛擬立體化（可以觀察產(chǎn)品的任何角度的內(nèi)外部結(jié)構(gòu)），在產(chǎn)品推廣階段，虛擬現(xiàn)實技術(shù)可以直接給用戶提供各種虛擬的場景供客戶了解該產(chǎn)品在不同環(huán)境下的形態(tài)和視覺效果，以及可以利用外部設(shè)備讓客戶體驗到更仿真的產(chǎn)品交互，進一步刺激消費者的購買欲和提升產(chǎn)品的科技感和競爭力。
1、設(shè)計前期：做可行性測試，研究用戶需求，利用虛擬現(xiàn)實技術(shù)快速定義前期研究的可行性，以及多種形態(tài)的呈現(xiàn)。（草圖之后可簡單快速定義產(chǎn)品的局部動能特點，以虛擬方式展現(xiàn)，可以讓ID設(shè)計師、產(chǎn)品策劃更清楚更明確的選擇方案和修改方案）
2、方案確定后ID設(shè)計師建模階段，模型完成后可導(dǎo)入相應(yīng)的軟件進行產(chǎn)品的動畫制作（根據(jù)產(chǎn)品的特性和功能做產(chǎn)品動畫），為后期產(chǎn)品多形式展示提供支持，（動畫形式展示能為用戶帶來不一樣的視覺感受和刺激消費，也為產(chǎn)品提升價值定位）
3、產(chǎn)品評審是一個產(chǎn)品能否量產(chǎn)和認可設(shè)計師的設(shè)計創(chuàng)意的方式，傳統(tǒng)的產(chǎn)品評審必須先做產(chǎn)品手板，手板的制作費時費人力費用高，產(chǎn)品手板為產(chǎn)品設(shè)計實物化更直觀，在評審中用來檢查外觀或結(jié)構(gòu)合理性的功能樣板。
